Resident This morning I joined PC Maunsell and the fantastic Community Speedwatch teams in Edenbridge and Westerham. It was great to work together and be out in the community, helping to keep our busy roads safer for everyone.
Road safety continues to be a key priority raised by residents through the Kent Priority Survey, and today’s activity is one of the ways we’re responding to those concerns. Our visible presence aimed to encourage drivers to slow down in areas where lots of people live, walk, and travel.

The Speedwatch volunteers recorded several vehicles travelling above the limit, and two drivers were issued Traffic Offence Reports for separate matters. A big thank‑you to all the volunteers who give up their time to support road safety. Your efforts make a real difference to the people who live, work, and travel through our towns.
